About Manolin
Why we are here?
In 2016, we met farmers who worked tirelessly to balance the needs of their the fish with the health of the surrounding marine ecosystem. Those same farmers then suffered losses with little information as to what went wrong.
We saw data being collected, but the systems lacked stability and missed efficient way to clean, share or analyze that data.
We recognized that the industry needed a partner. Like like the character Manolin in the book "The Old Man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway, Santiago needed someone to help him bring his catch home. That's why Manolin exists, to redefine how software can help sustainable grow the aquaculture industry.
