Why we are here?
In 2016, we met farmers who worked tirelessly to balance the needs of their the fish with the health of the surrounding marine ecosystem. Those same farmers then suffered losses with little information as to what went wrong.
We saw data being collected, but the systems lacked stability and missed efficient way to clean, share or analyze that data.
We recognized that the industry needed a partner. Like like the character Manolin in the book "The Old Man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway, Santiago needed someone to help him bring his catch home. That's why Manolin exists, to redefine how software can help sustainable grow the aquaculture industry.
Who are we?
We're engineers who seek to solve the most critical challenges in the aquaculture industry.
Our team comprises of mission-driven technologists and scientists. We are working every day to help our customers unlock new insights by combining human expertise with machine-driven efficiency.
"Now is no time to think of what you do not have. Think of what you can do with what is there is."
- Enest Hemingway, The Old Man and the Sea
Where we are going
Farmers and suppliers around the world are using our technology to make data-driven decisions to minimize issues, maximize output, and increase profits.
We dream of a future where farm outputs in the ocean are predictable, scalable, and protectable. Ocean industry will be able to predict and prepare for catastrophic events with time to not just react, but actually prevent them.
We are working towards building the future of farming. Join us!
